Teacher Training Workshops

“A New Agora for New York” is proud to provide, as part of the Humanities Discussion program, free Teacher Training Workshops where teachers will gain the skills to incorporate museum exhibitions like the Smithsonian's Voices and Votes and exhibitions created by local museums into their classrooms and curriculums.

The New York State Office of Cultural Education (OCE) is partnering with the Museum Association of New York (MANY) to provide CTLE eligible workshops for teachers throughout 2025 with additional content provided by museums participating in “A New Agora for New York”

If you are a teacher or educator interested in participating in one of these workshops please refer to the list below of locations and partner organizations.

All of the workshops are available virtually, but if you are local to any of the museums listed below who are providing in-person programming we encourage you to consider participating in person.
